Overview

Winner of NUS–SYNAPXE–IMDA AI Innovation Challenge 2026, AssureCare is an AI-powered, voice-first aging-in-place platform designed to support heart patients seniors living independently while enabling proactive and scalable healthcare delivery. By bridging the gap between medical appointments and daily care, the solution ensures that elderly individuals remain safe, connected, and well-supported in their homes.

The deployment addresses a pressing challenge in Singapore and Southeast Asia: rapidly aging populations, increasing caregiver burden, and the need for continuous yet cost-effective eldercare. Through intelligent wellness monitoring, conversational AI, and real-time insights, AssureCare empowers seniors, caregivers, and healthcare providers to deliver preventive, data-driven care.

In just a few interactions each day, seniors receive companionship, medication reminders, and wellness check-ins, while care teams gain actionable insights to intervene early and effectively.

Deployment

AssureCare is an AI-native, human-in-the-loop ecosystem that leverages large language models (LLMs), and voice-enabled GenAI hardware to transform eldercare into a proactive and scalable service. Designed with accessibility and humanization in mind, the platform ensures seamless interaction for seniors while delivering operational intelligence for healthcare stakeholders.

The deployment consists of three integrated components:

AssureBot

  • A voice-first companion device that conducts daily wellness check-ins, provides medication and hydration reminders, and offers conversational engagement to reduce loneliness.

Caregiver Portal

  • A centralized dashboard that allows caregivers and care coordinators to monitor multiple seniors, triage exceptions, and intervene efficiently through data-driven insights.

Doctors Portal

  • A population-level analytics platform that enables healthcare providers and policymakers to identify trends, optimize resource allocation, and enhance preventive care strategies.

Developed as part of the NUS–SYNAPXE–IMDA AI Innovation Challenge, AssureCare demonstrates how AI can augment healthcare systems to address demographic shifts and improve care outcomes. The solution aligns with Singapore’s Smart Nation vision and the Healthier SG initiative.
